Todd Jones, Prospect Pool and Spa

There is a high degree of information sharing amongst competitors in pool service and to a degree, pool shops. Certainly Todd enjoys good rapport with Adelaide’s well-regarded service companies. When it comes to selling against one another, competition is hot, but information sharing about techniques, products and problem solving is healthy. When time permits, Todd attends training sessions held by suppliers/distributors and he travelled to Egypt to visit the Maytronics manufacturing facility (Dolphin Robotic Pool Cleaners) to learn more about existing products, and products that will be released in the future. Todd’s industry knowledge has been mainly gained “on the tools”, where his problem solving continually requires considerable product knowledge and lateral thinking. The other two service staff members on our team have learned a great deal from working alongside him both in work planning and on the tools with him in the field.
